unmissable art exhibitions in Dubai
Arte Museum Dubai
If you’re wandering around Dubai Mall and fancy a spot of culture, make a beeline for Arte Museum Dubai. The fully-immersive art experience is now open in the world’s largest mall, found opposite Galeries Lafayette.
Showcasing 30,000 square feet of digital art, the exhibition Eternal Nature has 14 zones to explore in the immersive art experience, with digital technology that will invite you into all aspects of the natural world, virtually. With music, lights and projections, it’s an impressive experience.
Art in the Park
Running on select dates from Friday November 1 until the end of January, you can watch Dubai-based artist, Hakim Idriss, craft a new piece right in front of your eyes.
Taking place at Park Hyatt, the lobby lounge will be turned into a live gallery as Idriss, also known as Socrome, paints with a palette knife.
In addition, Idriss will also be working on a permanent mural to be painted on the side of the NOEPE restaurant, which you’ll be able to admire long after the exhibition finishes.
Al Quoz Arts Fest
Starting the year off right, the Quoz Arts Fest will return on Saturday January 25 to Sunday January 26, so gear up for a weekend of pop-up shops, exhibitions and hands-on workshops.
You listen to beats from rising local DJs, feast from the food trucks and bring the whole family to the epic neighbourhood fest.
